Pronouns table
- 1st p.: мен (I), бис (we).
- 2nd p.: сен (you sing.), силер (you pl./formal).
- 3rd p.: ол (he/she), олар (they).
Note 1. Personal pronouns in the nominative case are usually used as the subject of a sentence.
For example: Сен кир – You come in. Силер кириңер – You come in. Бис кирдивис – We came in. Силер кирдиңер – You came in. Ол кирди – He came in. Олар кирдилер – They came in.
Note 2. At the end of a sentence, the words мен, сен, бис, силер indicate the person and number of the predicate. For example: Мен ажылдаар мен – I will work. Сен килир сен – You will come. Бис ажылдаар бис – We will work. Силер чугаалаар силер – You will say. Мен ажылчын мен – I am a worker. Сен башкы сен – You are a teacher. Силер аныяк силер - You are young. Бис бежелээн бис – There are five of us.
In such sentences, the subject can be omitted (you can say: Ажылчын болур мен. Келир сен. Ажылдаар бис. Чугаалаар силер), but the use of person and number indicators of the predicate is mandatory.
